Wine Description

(1997 Vintage) The wine has a touch of chocolate and smoky oak on the nose. The palate is full and round, with velvet plum-like rich fruit characters enhanced by well integrated subtle oak. It finishes firm and has an excellent balance of full, soft fruit, good acid and fine oak-grain tannins. Rich, firm with a superb structure, it is a wonderful Barossa Shiraz.This wine makes a great partner for full flavoured red meat dishes, or a fine matured cheddar cheese.
