Wine Description

(1997 Vintage) The wine has a touch of chocolate and smoky oak on the nose. The palate is full and round, with velvet plum-like rich fruit characters enhanced by well integrated subtle oak. It finishes firm and has an excellent balance of full, soft fruit, good acid and fine oak-grain tannins. Rich, firm with a superb structure, it is a wonderful Barossa Shiraz.This wine makes a great partner for full flavoured red meat dishes, or a fine matured cheddar cheese.     (2004 Vintage) Ruby-red. Musky dark berries and cherry on the nose, with intriguing mocha and tobacco accents and a hint of mint. Fresh red and dark berry flavors are impressively sweet but nicely firmed by juicy acidity and underlying minerality. Firm and dry on the finish, with the sweet berry fruit returning at the back.
