This newest vintage of Marietta's Cellars' Zinfandel is so deep, dark, and black purple in color that it is almost opaque. Equally intense is the aroma, which is heady with camphor, black pepper and blackberry. The viscous, think-bodied mouth feel coats the palate with blackberry and raspberry flavors and just a hint of oak and black pepper.
