International Wine CellarRating: 92/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 89, March/April 2000 Deep ruby-red. Wild black fruits and spices on the nose; distinctly liqueur-like suggestion of kirsch but brighter than the premier crus. Incredibly concentrated and thick in the mouth; like a solid yet with definition. Endlessly long, ripe back end. This wears its surmaturité lightly, if such a thing is possible.
