WINEMAKER'S NOTE
The Malbec fruit for this wine was grown on our own River Oaks Vineyard estate in the southern end of Alexander Valley. Malbec is an unusual wine grape in that the berries are very large, and as delicious as table grapes. Almost purple-black in color, the fruit produces a very plush, big, silky wine.
