Wine Description

(1997 Vintage) Beautiful concentration of fruit. Attractive aromas of pineapple and wood. Rich in the mouth, deeply structured with plenty of fruit, full bodied. Its distinctions : a generous creamy, honey and fruity palate. Beautifully precise with impressive strength.

The ’97 Suduiraut is a golden colored wine that is slightly viscous. It has an aroma of apricots with a touch of vanilla. The wine is sweet, but not as sweet as other Sauternes I have tasted. The predominant flavor is apricots and honey with a moderate Botrytis flavor. The wine finishes slightly sweet, with fruit, however I found the flavor very subdued.

(1995 Vintage) Rating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Straw-gold; powerful oaky nose, wood dominating fruit now; rich, full-bodied, oaky, rounded, a lot of alcohol and rather heavy; quite good length.
