(From 2010 Vintage) Dense, bright hue. Medium intense focused fruity nose. The palate displays pleasurable harmony yet is still reticent. A Margaux built to last that seems to have closed up after bottling. Still a reliable choice nonetheless.
Château Siran is classic Margaux, a wine of great finesse and charm. In good vintages, Siran has a full rich style with hte warmth and depth of a great Margaux. In lesser vintages, it is frequently one of the most successful wines of the Médoc. Carefully-made and well-polished, the relatively high Petit Verdot content ensures that the wine ages gracefully.
