(2001 Vintage) Turley 01 Moore Earthquake Zin
95 Points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: A saturated ruby/purple color along with notes of blueberries, blackberries, minerals, and white flowers are found in the spectacular 2001 Zinfandel Moore (Earthquake) Vineyard (15.4% alcohol). Full-bodied, opulent, and voluptuous, with admirable purity, palate presence, and density, this is the type of All-American Zinfandel that Turley routinely achieves. With good underlying acidity supporting the enormous concentration and richness.
International Wine CellarRating: 90/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 78, May/June 1998 Medium red. Redcurrant complicated by vegetal and herbal nuances. Good concentration and restrained sweetness. Shows better fruit than the above and lovely balance. Seems distinctly French in texture. Finishes with even tannins, and lingering, subtle flavor.
