  • Robert Parker
(1998 Vintage) "The 1998’s saturated dense plum/garnet color is accompanied by a stunningly ostentatious, brilliantly aromatic nose of smoky tobacco, cedar wood, plums, cherry liqueur, coffee, and dried herbs. A rich, full-bodied, and opulent wine, it possesses fabulous spice and fruit, as well as a fresh, high-toned character. Powerful, full, and beautifully delineated, it can be consumed over the next 10-15 years."

(2004 Vintage) "What a beautiful nose, with flowers, licorice, ripe fruit and fresh leather. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a wonderful ripeness of fruit, yet this is balanced and structured. Very smooth. The best wine I have ever had from this producer. Best after 2012. 1,700 cases made."
