    age shows but against a more average champagne so this is just a bit less impressive than the more famous 1996 champagne houses.

    (From NV Vintage) This blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir impressed us for its precise, incisive and expansive aromas of aged yeast, citrus and biscuits. It suggests age yet has the vitality of youth, and its tiny bubbles and creamy, rich deep flavors project the wine to the upper reaches of the list in its current iteration. It may be that others get the publicity and enjoy greater cachet, but this wine clearly belongs in the club.
