(From 2010 Vintage) The estate’s 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is more typical of the year in its blue and black fruit, violets, asphalt, graphite and pencil shavings. Here, too, there is considerable energy and pure minerality to back up the fruit. Graphite, tar and savory herbs add a measure of gravitas on the deeply resonant, pure finish.
(From 2002 Vintage) Displaying a dense ruby/purple color, offers a striking nose of black currants, plums, licorice, earth, white chocolate, and spice. The beautiful aromatics are followed by a full-bodied, rich, concentrated wine redolent with creamy tannin and an opulent, lush, smooth style. Typical of this vintage in California, it already reveals considerable complexity.
