Carries the fruit-forward, volatile acidity aspects of the California Cabs that I'm not a big fan of. Still, it is nice and complex, with a pleasant finish, but none of the silky texture or rich notes of others.

(1987 Vintage) Full red with a hint of amber at the rim. Aromatic redcurrant, tobacco and leather nose, with a strongly vegetal bell pepper component. Rich and supple but with the strong bell pepper vegetility dominating. Rather short finish features slightly drying tannins.
