International Wine CellarRating: 89/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 84, May/June 1999 Deep ruby. Plum, meat and leather on the slightly roasted, reduced nose. Rich palate feel suggests a high pH, but the flavors seem a bit dried by the wine brett component. Distinct notes of leather and meat. The big tannins currently cut off the wine's fruit. Less impressive than it appeared from barrel a year ago. Perhaps best suited for early drinking.
