    (1982 Vintage) "Sadly, the bottle tasted in Philadelphia was corked. A bottle from my cellar was close to full maturity, exhibiting plenty of amber to its dense ruby/garnet color in addition to abundant sweet black cherry fruit, smoky, mineral, earth, and dried herb aromas. Fleshy, spicy, and full-bodied, with the vintage's tell-tale succulence, high glycerin, and low acidity giving the wine a fat, plush personality, this 1982 should drink well for another decade, although it is clearly within its plateau of ma...

    (2000 Vintage) "Aromas of barley, crushed berry and olives turn to flowers and blackberries. Full-bodied, with smooth and succulent tannins and a long berry, vanilla aftertaste. Fantastic. Lovely Trot here. Best after 2010. (JS)"
