(2001 Vintage) Rating: 92/100 - As reviewed by Piedmont Report Saturated ruby. The Tenuta Nuova is Neri's more modern-styled Brunello. It is made from vines planted in the southern part of the zone and aged in small oak barrels. It displays darker color and notable concentration with masses of sweet dark fruit, smoke and licorice flavors that flow onto the palate with exceptional length and balance in a powerful, brooding style.
  • Decanter
(2001 Vintage) Rating: 3/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Sweet, intense black fruit, slightly raw but concentrated, good balanced and potential. Drink 2008-11.
