This elegant Cab is the very last of Tony Sargent’s Old World-styled Mt. Veeder Cabernets. In subsequent vintages we began harvesting the grapes later and bringing the fruit more forward in the wine. The fruit in the 95 is reserved, austere and gentle. Not so much a sipping wine, as it is a wine to enjoy with roasted meats, hearty pastas and fragrant cheeses.
