1995 Chateau Bellefont-Belcier Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Wine Description

(From 2006 Vintage) Medium-bodied, elegant with plenty of silky, aromatic fruit. Tannins ripe and smooth. While the dark ruby/purple-tinged 2006 may not equal the brilliance of the 2005, it is a successful effort exhibiting aromas of coffee beans, roasted herbs, black cherries, plums, and earth. With medium to full body, moderate levels of sweet tannin, and a long finish.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2007 Vintage) Good medium ruby. Black fruits, licorice and a whiff of menthol on the nose and palate. Sweet and supple in the mouth, with rather soft, dusty tannins and good length.
