(From 2012 Vintage) The Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is our interpretation of a “classic” Napa cab. A combination of fruit from several of our estate vineyards. Well aged and integrated, this wine is balanced and drinking beautifully.
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2001 Vintage) 18% Cabernet Franc; 7% Petit Verdot. Obvious ripeness rather than well-defined fruit is the main motif of this soft and slightly fleshy wine, and, while it toys with a sense of richness, its lack of brightness and its dulling drift to dryness keep it solidly in the ranks of fairly average Cabernet.
