(2013 Vintage) Flavors of dark plum and chocolate lead to a hint of oak and a smooth finish. This scrumptious and unusually delightful wine goes exceptionally well with grilled lamb or pork, sautéed asparagus and curried deviled eggs.
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2007 Vintage) This nicely extracted and well-ripened youngster sports a nice snap of brightness to its ongoing themes of blackberries, cocoa and spice. It is fairly full on the palate, but stays in balance from front to back, and, if just a touch hot and lightly tannic at the finish, it never lets go of its lively young fruit and will improve over the next couple of years.
