Deep ruby red in color. The nose is packed with berry fruit and floral overtones harmoniously blending spicy, toasted vanilla scents from the wood. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied with good acidity and a pleasantly lingering finish. Recommended with roasted meat and game, particularly pheasant. Excellent with aged cheeses.
