Wine Details

Wine Description

(1993 Vintage) On the nose, fruity notes mingle with notes of brioche, pralines and mild spices. The silky, full palate shows rich notes of honey and custard, which give the structure of the wine a perfect roundness. The finish is long and smooth.

(1989 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Ripe, well-developed nose. Charming well-made, ripe, open.

(1993 Vintage) Complex, soil-inflected aromas of redcurrant, cranberry, mint, nutmeg and earth. Big and creamy, but also intensely flavored and penetrating. Offers excellent backbone but seems a bit less full and deep than normal for this cuvee-no doubt a function of the '93 vintage. Impeccably balanced Champagne. Steely lemony acidity became more apparent with aeration. Finishes very subtle and long.
