Wine Description

The colour is a deep and dense purple. The highly complex, full and varied nose reveals ripe red fruit aromas mingled with succulent cocoa and vanilla, rounded off by slightly toasted, smoky notes combined with youthful oak. The attack is succulent, lush and substantial, at once dense and silky. Rounded, elegant tannins underpin a generous, full-bodied and well-balanced palate. The finish is straight as an arrow, deep and radiant.

(2005 Vintage) Ruby-red. Pungent aromas of currant, lead pencil, minerals and flowers. Juicy, floral and precise, with a penetrating flavor of blackcurrant. In a leaner style but with lovely sweetness of fruit and some incipient complexity suggesting that this will be drinkable within four or five years. Very good for this second wine.
