Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) There is a touch of austerity as might be expected to this off-dry Riesling, yet the wine conveys a nice bit of mild, peachy fruit all the same. It is crisply balanced, slightly rounded in feel and has a good sense of palatal weight that makes it a useful mealtime partner to chicken or lighter fish dishes. GOOD VALUE
International Wine Cellar(2006 Vintage) A fruit bomb of a nose, offering melon, peach, lemon, lime and a hint of nutmeg. Supple and slightly sweet, with flavors of peach syrup and brown spices. With a good bit of CO2 and sound acidity, this comes across as less sweet than the 7.5 grams per liter r.s. would suggest. Excellent value.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2007 Vintage) If forced to choose at the moment between this bottling and its sibling from 2006, we would pick the latter but only because this one seems held back a bit and bound by a certain youthful restraint. As dry as its mate and a touch wiry just now, it teases with a spry streak of citrusy fruit and might well emerge as the favored wine if set aside for another twelve months. GOOD VALUE
