(From 2012 Vintage) This ARTEMIS Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intriguing plum, ripe fig and allspice aromas. On the palate, the wine offers flavors of ripe blackberry, chocolate-covered cherry and hints of cedar. Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2003 Vintage) There is no shortfall of richness to this very solid, handsomely oaked wine, and it exhibits fine concentration and overall balance. It is not, at this point at least, quite so complex or as well-polished as it sibling above, and it finishes a bit on the dry side with pushy tannins limiting its commendable fruit. If its need for aging is clear, it is never so tough as to need extended time in the cellar, and we would tag it for drinking after some four or five years.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 1992 Vintage) Not unlike the previous wine in structure, but much more classic in its delivery of ripe cherry fruit tinged with notes of cola, caramel and an elusive hint of dried flowers that is the patina of successful bottle aging, this one is maturing now and will peak in the next few years. It gets it points for current drinkability.
