Wine Description

(2013 Vintage) This vintage truly captures the pure essence of each vineyard. Together each different block contributes their unique qualities ranging from red to jammy fruit, plush to bold tannins, with hints of vanilla and spice. The final blend flaunts a wine with deep color, rich fruit, and a full supple mouthfeel.     Zin lovers will find lots to appreciate in this solidly varietal wine. Its nose is a delightful mix of ripe blackberries, Dry Creek Valley spiciness and a certain refined richness that can only come from bottle age. Still, this is not a particularly refined wine so much as one that has retained much of its original gusto even as it has gained a bit of smoothing and an extra bit of richness.
