(1990 Vintage) Luscious black currant flavored Cabernet fruit makes Mouton beguilingly easy to drink. Rich Complex flavors, powerful ripe tannins and an extremely long finish are all hallmarks of this wine.
Tasted by Ernoid on 2/11/2012 & rated 96 points: Had it along with a vertical of 2000, 88, 82 and 86. This was the most impressive of them all despite having decanted the 2000 for more than 2 hrs. 88 was number two on my list, while the 82 and 86 were flattening pretty quick. Perhaps the 2000 was simply too young. 90 was complex and fullest in body if thats your style. (1713 views)
