(From 2011 Vintage) A soft and charming Lascombes while sweetness, but the tannins are present, medium length, nice spicy finish.
Nose of blackcurrant and toasty french oak. Tastes of blackberries, blackcurrant and violets. A bit on the bretty side for my tastes. Nicely balanced with lots of acidity. Not showing much complexity on the mid palate or finish to merit an outstanding score.
DecanterRating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Deep red; fine fleshy nose, very attractive; soft, lush, almost jammy but has tannic backbone, robust and concentrated; good length.
