(From 2012 Vintage) The 2014 growing season marked the third consecutive year of exceptional weather and growing conditions in the Napa Valley. Crafted from a blend of clones 667, 777 and Pommard 4 from Jim Haire’s organically certified vineyard in Carneros, this wine is an excellent example of what Carneros Pinot Noir can deliver. The 2014 Pinot Noir exudes a beautiful dark ruby color and aromas of briary raspberry, rhubarb and black cherry. The palate is bright and supple with a ripe core of red fruit, balanced by subtle hints of cedar, vanilla and spice that linger on the finish. This wine is drinking great right now, but should develop additional complexity with proper cellaring. Enjoy!
(From 2012 Vintage) This Pinot Noir made with grapes harvested from a Napa Valley Carneros vineyard has a medium ruby color and aromas of briary strawberry and raspberry preserves. Subtle hints of vanilla give way to a lush, silky palate with more bright fruit, rhubarb, and cedar notes. Ten months aging in French Oak barrels resulted in a delicious Pinot Noir wine with great depth and complexity.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2003 Vintage) Well-ripened cherries are teamed up with lightly creamy, vanilla-tinged oak in the pleasant, mid-mass aromas of this generally likeable wine. If somewhat blunted at present by a finishing note of acid-pushed tannin, it conveys reasonable fruit and a nice bit of flesh in the mouth, and it is destined to improve with a few years of further cellaring.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2007 Vintage) Incredibly well-defined, harmonious aromas redolent of ripe red cherries, sweet strawberries, seductive oak smelling of toast and creme brulee lead to a surprisingly supple, almost velvety texture that would seem to belie the wine's tender years. It is endowed with ample fruit in its deep, rich flavors, and if a touch simple at this writing, the wine has everything in place for further develop -ment and promises to get better and better over the next three to six years with quiet cellaring.
