(From 2010 Vintage) The 2010 Granato bursts from the glass with expressive red fruit and bright, floral-inflected aromatics, all supported by the silkiest of tannins. Sweet, perfumed and impeccable, the 2010 impresses for its balance and structure.
(From 2009 Vintage)
Dark ruby. Sweet, ripe aromas of red cherry syrup, tobacco and brown spices, with a hint of raspberry liqueur. Dense, thick and sweet on the palate, but with sound acidity framing the rich flavors of red cherry, tobacco and mocha. Finishes broad and very long, with the tannins thoroughly buffered by the wine's rich mid-palate fruit.
