Wine Description

(From 2007 Vintage) A rich, fine, dark fruit compote nose leads to a wonderfully fresh, refined palate with delicate yet intense cassis, plum and cedar-box flavours caressing the tastebuds on their way to an exquisite finish.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2004 Vintage) On the nose, the wine is closed and then opens up slowly. Fruity, slightly roasted notes. On the palate, the attack is generous, the wine then evolves a full-bodied balance, with richness and great elegance. A very long, smooth, silky finish.

"Wonderfrul berry and tobacco character, with chocolate and cedar. Full-bodied, yet elegant and silky. Beautifully long. This is always outstanding, but sometimes overlooked. '89/'90 Bordeaux non-blind horizontal. Drink now."
