Château Guiraud 1er Grand Cru Classé Sauternes
International Wine CellarRating: 88(+?) - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 79, July/August 1998. Medium color. Cassis and a high-toned note of varnish on the nose. Sweet, layered and deep, but rather unforthcoming today, due in part to fresh acidity. Finishes slightly fiery. This still needs several years of bottle aging.
DecanterRating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Oranges, peaches and honey aromas. Big peach and syrup flavours on the palate with touches of prunes and figs.
