(From 2012 Vintage) Chardonnay its lusciously ripe fruit expression of white peach, ripe pear, Golden Delicious apple, mango and papaya. On the silky palate, nuances of citrus blossoms and minerals meld with vanilla-spice notes from oak aging. We used barrel fermentation, partial malolactic fermentation and aging the wine on the yeast to enhance its opulent, mouth-coating texture, while naturally crisp acidity balances the wine with vibrancy. Chill and pour it just to sip with friends or to pair with favorite entrées.
(From 2012 Vintage) We selected 100 percent of the grapes from the Los Carneros American Viticultural Area (AVA), including 42 percent from our estate vineyards. The balance of the grapes came from long-term growers in the region. The cool marine winds here develop vibrant fruit flavors and acidity in Chardonnay grapes, while the distinct soils and clones of each vineyard contribute to this wine’s diversity of flavors. We hand harvested the grapes into small bins and then immediately pressed them as whole clusters to capture their vibrant flavors.
Wine & Spirits(From 2006 Vintage) Mmmm, sugar and spice and everything nice! This 90 point wine has aromas of apricots, pears, apples and nutmeg. However, the flavors are bursting with an initial sweetness upon mouth entry and then transition into a kind of holiday spice. It lingers in the mouth afterwards for at least a minute, continuing to evolve, blend and delight! Acacia goes fantastically with sea bass, rigatoni with shiitake mushrooms, or even lighter fare such as crab and mango salad.
