(From 2008 Vintage) Blend of Tempranillo with Graciano and Mazuelo (Carignan), aged in a combo of French and American oak. Brambly raspberry and blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, smoke, anise and black pepper paint a complex aromatic picture. Deep, dark and spicy on the palate with fleshy mouth-coating tannins and a nice, long finish.
DecanterRating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Deep ruby-purple. Rich and clean on the nose with a background of cherry pie and damson. Concentrated autumn fruits on the palate with liquorice and tar notes and a good soft finish.
