(From 2010 Vintage) Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and cassis mingle with hints of violet and dark chocolate to seduce and intrigue. The palate is inviting and silky, with a vivid core of cassis that defines every sip, balanced by a backbone of acidity and a smooth tannin structure.
(From 2006 Vintage) Vineyard blocks were harvested and fermented separately, spending 12–21 days in tank depending on the particular character of the site. Malolactic fermentation occurred before the lots were re-tasted to determine which exuded the sensory characteristics to merit inclusion in our barrel blend lots. Only the finest lots wereassembled for the final blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 12 months in French (67%) and American (33%) oak barrels, of which 33% were new, before two years of bottle age.
