(From 2008 Vintage) There is a lovely purity to the fruit and clear botrytis concentration, if less than in the great years. Has all the hallmarks of a fine, elegant Yquem. A very polished, well-presented sample.
(From 1998 Vintage) Knockout aromas of creme brulee, coconut, vanilla bean, honey and orange peel. Lush and seductively silky in the mouth.
DecanterRating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Gold; rich burnished barley sugar nose, powerful, oaky, almost caramelly; rich, sweet, firm, acidity, highly concentrated, barley sugar and raisiny tones, stewed apricots; very good length.
