(From 2010 Vintage) Nipozano 2010 is a ruby red color with purple highlights. The nose delivers fruity notes dominated by ripe black cherry, marsca cherry and a delicate hint of forest underbrush. Floral notes of violet and fresh notes of licorice combine with spicy aromas of clove and nutmeg. The palate has a pleasing entry with broad tannins and lovely texture. Fresh and full bodied reveals a remarkable correspondence between fragrances and flavor and a notable persistence.

On the palate you will note a sense of freshness and elegance along with smoky, meaty, tobacco, prune, peppery, black cherry, orange peel and dried fig flavours. Fine intensity you can enjoy now with beef dishes or mushroom risotto, or wait five to seven years for it to mellow out.
