Chateau La Fleur-Petrus

Wine Details

Wine Description

(2007 Vintage) Ruby red. Peppery aromas of black fruits and licorice. Juicy and light on its feet, with good grip and floral lift to the dark berry flavors. There is a slight herbal astringence lurking but this offers good intensity and energy, and finishes with very good persistence.

(1998 Vintage) Red-ruby. Deep aromas of kirsch, graphite and smoky oak. Fat, thick, concentrated and deep; quite fleshy but with backbone. Already offers enticing inner-mouth perfume. Long, satisfying finish features thoroughly ripe tannins and very persistent, sweet, chocolatey fruit. This is turning out very well indeed.
