Wine Description

(From 2009 Vintage) A dense red with a pronounced purple tint. The nose is expressive and complex, rich in fresh and ripe fruit aromas, especially red cherry and morello cherry, with a touch of spice. The attack, on the fruit, is rich and supple, the mid-palate full and fruity on silky tannins. Showing attractive length on the palate, it has a fresh and spicy finish that expresses all the typically character of the merlot and the very high quality of the vintage.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2011 Vintage) The wine has a clean, brilliant cherry red color. Thenose is very attractive, on morello cherry and ripe berry fruit aromas with a highly elegant floral touch. From a round and smooth attack with well-integrated tannins, the wine remains silky while developing a muscular structure on the palate, complex, substantial and full of fruit, with juicy fresh fruit flavors reminiscent of raspberry and black cherry. The refinement, volume and length of the seductive finish show perfect balance in the varietal mix and the typical characteristics of the appellation.
