(2006 Vintage) 66% Cabernet Sauvignon; 22% Merlot; 7% Petit Verdot. This somewhat sturdy and well-stuffed youngster starts out with complex aromas of cassis, stone and graphite and for a moment hints that it might be plush on the palate. It nonetheless turns out to be a bit little bit backward and a touch on the tough side, but it shows plenty of depth and promises good things with six to eight years of age.
