Wine Description

(From 2003 Vintage) This is downright exotic on the nose: mocha, coffee, graphite and coconut, lifted by sandalwood and cinnamon spice. Then dense, supple and fine-grained without coming across as heavy. Suggestion of aromatic tree bark.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 1988 Vintage) Very pretty aromas of vanilla, tobacco, berry and chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied, with soft tannins and a berry, chocolate finish.

  • Decanter
Rating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Deep red; sweetish dense nose, not very expressive but very Cabernet in its aromas; austere, firm, still tannic, plenty of fruit, still backward but will it come round?; quite good length.
