Barone Ricasoli Chianti Classico Castello di Brolio
Intense ruby red colour. Scents of small red fruit, vanilla and liquorice. The mouth shows a complex, but velvety fragrance and a long mineral aftertaste, typical of the territory.

Decanter(2001 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Firm blackberry and plum fruit on the nose, with a beef extract edge. The oak gives it an attractive smokiness and the wine has a lovely harmonious balance. Drink from 2005 or decant before then. (AW)
