    Tried this as a substitute for the traditional champagne for New Year's Eve - and it was a welcomed surprise. Bright and citrusy. Although, don't let the flat nose fool you - actually smelled a bit off-putting, in fact my brother in-law (not a wine guy) likened it to "spit" - very strange indeed. As soon as it hit the palette, it was smooth, citrussy and light, and not overly sparkly. We paid $11.99 in NYC - a decent value in our opinion for a crowd pleasing alternative to the traditional champagne route....Haven't tried a lot of Prosecco's to date, so rating this wine a "3 Glass" read more...or "I like It" for now....    (hide)
