  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
60% Pinot Noir; 30% Pinot Muenier; 10% Chardonnay. On the lean, slightly tangy and comparatively austere end of the Rose spectrum and showing angles and edges aplenty, this close-to-wiry wine wants for added richness and range, but even though lemony tartness is its salient theme, it still hits the chalky, mildly minerally marks of real Champagne.

The signature of Nicolas Feuillatte; intense, impertinent pleasure! There is simply no other rose Champagne like this cuvee from NicolasFeuillatte. Blended from 90% red grapes with a dollop of Chardonnay, this wine explodes in the glass with vivid aromas and flavors ofraspberry, strawberry and red currants.
  • Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
Bright pink with a frothy mousse. Fresh strawberry and raspberry on the nose, with a gentle floral quality adding interest. Round and sappy on the palate, with fresh red berry flavors and a gentle texture. An easygoing, appealingly fruity Champagne that is very easy to drink.

The color alone sets this wine apart from its peers; itrsquo;s what can only be called Barbie doll pink. Fresh and foamy, it spurts out of the bottle as if to say ldquo;Par-tay!rdquo; Fruity and flavorful, it carries hints of rose petals, citrus zest and cherry Lifesavers.

WS90. Firm, w lively bead and a minerally base note mixing with flavors of grilled plum, white raspberry, biscuit and candied orange zest. Ground ginger and white pepper accents linger on the finish. Drink now thru '17.
