Unusually pronounced red-grape fragrances this time-- the wine is usually marked by sauteed apples and butter-- but this time it's all braised beef, shitakes and honey-mushroom. Brisk, focused and clean, with sweet hazelnut and butter notes adding depth and richness to bright lemon and green apple flavors. Nicely focused on the finish, offering good lift and a persistent citrus quality.
