Fresh and fairly light on its feet, this finely bubbled Brut shows a quiet bit of autolyzed yeast in counterpoint to its clean-as-can-be fruit. If arguably lacking in the depth and drama of the older cuvees under review, it is well-balanced with nicely defined Methode Champeniose character, and it hits all the marks that a basic Brut should.
