  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
We are reminded of Roederer's California wines when we taste this one. This French version is a bit less fruity and bit richer in aged yeast, yet the family style featuring generous fruit and creamy, toasty yeastiness comes through clearly. Tiny, pinpointy carbonation and a long, lively finish complete the picture of this top-ranked Brut.
  • International Wine Cellar
Green-gold. Potent aromas of pear and apple liqueur plus an exotic note of fresh mushroom on the ripe, smoky nose. Deep, rich and concentrated, with a tangy note of white pepper adding interest and lift to the buttery orchard fruit flavors. The full, smoky finish shows a clinging, sappy quality and striking length.
