WINEMAKER'S NOTE
If you are one of those that believe bigger is better, read on. Appropriately named both for its bountiful bouquet of fruit, as well as where the grapes are grown, this full-bodied Zinfandel has plenty of ripe black cherry, plum and spice and is framed by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Zinfandel isn't known as America's most decadent red for nothing.

"The 2010 Mountain Zinfandel is an intensely flavored, decadent wine. Jammy aromas follow through to luscious dark berry flavors and a smooth, round mouth feel. The finish is long and satisfying with hints of vanilla and white pepper. The wine is bold enough to accompany spicy fare brilliantly. Try it with spicy sausage like Andouille." Me: Lots of dark red fruit, and spice, but the finish is surprisingly thin, in my opinion.

Delicious! Good nose, nice mouth feel. a surprise after tasting a terrible Pinot.
