WINEMAKER'S NOTE
This enticing Sauvignon Blanc offers a beautiful combination of freshness and complexity. The aromas are rich and layered with elements of pineapple, guava, peach and lemon zest. On the palate, the entry is crisp and inviting with good acidity supporting flavors of lemon meringue, grapefruit, pear and flint. The addition of Sémillon accentuates the wine’s tropical notes with subtle oak adding nuance and dimension.

BackgroundDuckhorn Vineyards has been crafting Sauvignon Blanc from some of the finest Napa Valley fruit since 1982. As is our tradition, our Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant blend of several individual vineyard lots throughout the valley. Focusing on grapes with vibrant citrus flavors, we source fruit from various microclimates, including warmer vineyards planted on alluvial fans, which are well drained and have little topsoil. Our preference for barrel fermentation and the addition of the Sémillon grape result in a unique, full-flavored Sauvignon Blanc exhibiting balanced acidity and bright fruit.
