2010 Cannonball Wines Cabernet Sauvignon
Our goal is to deliver balance in our Chardonnay. We want oak and creaminess balanced against bright tropical and citrus fruit. Acidity and texture should be smooth, not sharp or astringent. Ultimately, it should be enjoyable, rich but refreshing. The Cannonball 2010 Sonoma Chardonnay saw 50% French Oak and 85% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation.
DescriptionThe wine offers a sophisticated nose of lemon custard, peaches, and a hint of pie crust. In the mouth, the stone fruits and some tropical notes, like pineapple come into the mix. I even get a hint of Granny Smith apple and vanilla bean on the finish. I’m smiling just writing about the wine. I hope when you taste it, it brings a smile to your face too.
