The second release of this Grenache-based blend from Dave Phinney, the creator of the popular, critically acclaimed Zin-based blend, the Prisoner. Using fruit from Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties, mostly from hillside vineyards, with Petite Sirah and Syrah supporting the juicy Grenache fruit. Think cherries, strawberries and crushed blackberries with mouthcoating tannins and balancing acidity.

the fruit tasted a little cooked. other than the label this wine is average at best.

full bodied good nose on vanilla and coco.
