This is the indelible signature recognizable in this wine’s expressive generosity; the primary fruit spectrum suggests black cherries and cranberries, with hallmark spice box notes, hints of exotic Asian perfumes and that elusive forest floor/earthy set of characters that seem an “MSR” signature. Tannins are fine and complement the already fleshy mid-palate which will, of course, expand in aroma and texture with aeration and continue to develop further with bottle age.
